Your blog post content is a great way for you to share your updates, news and informative articles about your company or related to your company’s products and services.
Before you start with writing your blog post content, it is important to identify the approach you are planning to take with your blog.
- Do you want to have blog post content that consists only of news updates, or,
- Do you want to only share information about your company’s products and services?
- Or you could do both!
So, before jumping into it, I like to spend some time understanding what you are looking to gain from your blog, and what your specific objectives are from the blog.

Blog Post Content : What’s Next?
After identifying your blog’s aims and objectives, we have to brainstorm for blog post ideas. This is a very fun and interesting process. In fact, it can be even more fun if more people get involved. This way a lot of people can come up with a variety of great ideas and thoughts. And we can cover a broad spectrum of thought processes to can come up with a list of topics and ideas to focus on and talk about on your blog.
Another thing to consider at this stage is the length of the blog post content. Depending on the nature of the news and information updates, the blog can have ‘short and sweet’ posts or it can have detailed blog posts. It all depends on what you want to convey at that time.
How Many Blog Posts Should I Put Up?
Honestly, the more the merrier. However, the most basic starting point is once a week. You can also put up one blog post per day, or many posts per day – it all depends on how changeable your industry sector actually is. However, it is also important to be consistent with your blog posts – both in terms of blog post frequency and the quality of your content.
Not only does this imply a certain amount of consistency with your blog posting, it also sets the expectations of your blog’s readers.
Combine all this with a good dose of social media-ing, and you’ve got yourself a winner!
